Well Well Well 5 years down one to go
Finally as of Thursday 4th November 2004 I finished my 5th year of University study and it feels like I have studied almost everything possible in some form or another. For example

2000

I studied Civil Engineering...A lot of maths as well as some Maori studies and communication english

2001
I saw the light and moved to Victoria to study Computer Science...yea I'm an ex-comp-sci geek.
This included maths as well as doing Mgmt in the 2nd Trimester

2002
Another experience I found politics I spose the word is rediscovered as I started Pols 111 and haven't turned back since bye bye to the years of the geek welcome to the years of the Activist.
I also started towards where I am now studying Mgmt and Pols

2003
A great year more mgmt more pols but also some philosophy, religous studies and a hell of a lot more alcohol. Attempt one at the VUWSA exec, learnt that campaigning involves many late nights and many more early mornings...Fee Setting great to be involved in shutting down meetings, occupying buildings and generally trying to make a nuisance of ourselves

2004
The year that is finally over...More Pols, More Mgmt, More Phil...and the latest additions to my repertoire German and Criminology, as well as the dreaded subject of Economics. As well this year included attempts 2 & 3 to get on the VUWSA exec attempt two was a byelection which I came in third and was co-opted into a position of education officer then attempt three was the general election where I lost by a mere 12 votes..

So anyway my main point here is advice to anyone getting into the University life from someone quite experienced at it, I have to say If you decide to come to Uni spread your wings...Fly and enjoy life but while you are here I suggest you sit down attend class and try as wide a range of subjects as you possibly can as you will find your calling in the strangest places

Just to prove this I had studied for 2 years before I found something I loved but luckily my credits count towards new degrees.

Here is a basic list of what courses I have studied or just attended at random
Engineering could've been more interesting

And the on course you cannot forget to collect on your journey here at University is offered by Eastside and events thru VUWSA
