All Blacks to play Lions II
Well the team to play in the second test has been named and it seems that Graham Henry is following my advice I know of 3 changes, there may be more sorry I missed most of the team and only saw the backs, but here we go Kelleher in for Marshall, Gear in for Howlett and Muliliana in for McDonald. If I am not mistaken I championed two of these changes and have discussed the other on another occasion. The only change I am waiting on now is to see Smith take his rightful place in the centres.

All Blacks to play Lions
I don't understand Henry's logic. Here is the team:

1 Tony Woodcock, 2 Keven Mealamu, 3 Carl Hayman, 4 Chris Jack, 5 Ali Williams, 6 Jerry Collins, 7 Richie McCaw, 8 Rodney So'oialo, 9 Justin Marshall, 10 Dan Carter, 11 Sitiveni Sivivatu, 12 Aaron Mauger, 13 Tana Umaga (Captain), 14 Doug Howlett, 15 Leon MacDonald.

Right now for the bits I don't understand, to start with why is Leon "I have a concussion" McDonald playing, everytime he has made the All Blacks it has been at the expense of a better player, and it is usually only because of the Cantebury links in the Selection panel, these half-rate players keep getting selected.
So far McDonalds selection has resulted in the loss of Cullen to NZ rugby I hope it doesn't now lead to the loss of another good fullback in
Muliaina. Another couple of selections don't stack up for me either, Marshall at halfback, Kelleher is at least as good if not better (Oh thats right he doesn't play for cantebury) and Kelleher is committed to NZ rugby whereas Marshall is buggering off as soon as this series is over, why play him at all.

And another problem I have with the team is the fact that Mauger did not perform in the Super 12 anywhere near the level of Conrad Smith and yet he makes the All Blacks in front of him, and then in the trial again Mauger was outplayed by Smith shown in the win of the possibles and still the selectors continue with this stupidity.

Well Ok it seems my only complaints are with three Cantebury players, but none of these three deserve to be in the team. I would be the same about any other player.

Savings mean more funding needed???
I remember just 6 months ago, when Ventolin was free. now the subsidy has been reinstated after a series of complaints from users of Salamol, but the subsidy now does not cover the whole amount. So therefore the government saves money on its subsidies by bringing in cheaper alternatives and yet still puts more funding into healthcare, yet waiting lists keep growing, operations are still at the same rate they were when they came to power and subsidies on medication is now less, so where is this money going????

Ron quick off the Mark
Green MP Keith Locke has been the butt of many jibes around parliament, but one that continues is his support of Communist China.
First Rod Donald steps up and asks Cullen to defend the trade deal with China, given their human rights abuses and censorship issues, Cullen could not let the opportunity pass as he turns and says, "While it was true that China did not share our commitment to free speech, it was probably more enlightened than in the days of the old Communist regime, supported by Mr Locke. (Refering to Locke's youthful crusades in the Socialist Action Party) Mr Locke rose to protest saying that Cullen was inplying he was in some way a Maoist and he rejected that. Cullen replied with, I got it wrond he was not a Maoist, but a Trotskyite. Winston then smelt blood and stood for his customary pop that Mr Locke formerly supported the Pol Pot, Mr Locke then Denies, then Peters says he can produce documens and table them in parliament to back up his claims. Then Ron Marks produces a bound copy of the said documents looking just like any other parliamentry document - this was quite impressive as there was little to no chance of Mr Locke being pulled up in Parliament on this particular day.

So I guess Ron Marks must have been a Scout, as he seems to live by their motto
BE PREPARED
The only thing that follows is the question is Ron quick off the Mark or is Keith just all Locked up.
