Alcohol
Ok well I think I have posted something like this before this is the story of the "I am never drinking again" moment.

If you have ever drunk to excess you have had this moment it is normally the day after your huge night out, where you realise that you are paying extremely badly for your actions the night before so you procede to blame it on the alcohol (forgetting that it is your fault you didn't drink 3L of water before bed) you turn around and say to whoever will listen to your hungover ramblings "Screw it all I am never drinking again" most of the time the response is you say that now wait til tomorrow night. and in my case that is more than true right now.

On Satutday I had WAY too much to drink and ended up having the above explained moment about 1pm on Sunday. Yet I procede to punish myself by drinking again not a week later but on a monday noght WTF am I thinking...??? It is now 11pm on Monday, yet I realise right now that I know that I have to eat and drink water before I go to bed so that I don't have another of these moments tomorrow morning when I wake up.

Funding to be slashed by Laws

I am glad to see he is going to cut spending not be stupid and sell assets or increase rates, will be interesting to see how he is going to cut spending by 65 million though.
I don't know if Wanganui can really afford to have 65 million less in spending but we will see.

Story is here
Tamahori the Drag Womble

Lee Tamahori has made a plea bergin with the LA police and has to clean the streets of Hollywood as part of his punishment. So Tamahori is on Rubbish Duty, bad boy, what a slap on the wrist.

The Story is here. Tamahori was today sentenced to three years' probation and ordered to complete 15 days of community service – requiring the director to clean the streets of Hollywood – after he was arrested in drag during a prostitution sting in January.

Oh How the Mighty have fallen, so one New Zealand Director caught in Drag, Russell Crowe throwing a Telephone, whats next Martin Henderson caught having sex in public??

See though my biggest problem with this is the same as in other cases, anyone who is famous just needs a big wallet and a good lawyer and they can get off anything.
Life has its Ups and its Downs
Well Life has been pretty good for me over the last few weeks, I quit my old job at a retail store where I had to work weekends fr crap pay on the 12th of Feb, on the 13th I got a call from another place and was offered a job tutoring kids, now for anyone who knows me they will know this is an awesome job for me, I LOVE KIDS. I also don't have to work weekends and am now on a better pay rate too.

University starts back on Monday so I get to start my last Trimester, its really scary....I have changed my mind again and am going to finish my Politics Degree instead and start on a history and maybe a classics major. I have decided I should do things I love, which for now is politics...I am also looking into the Post Grad Diploma in Teaching as Teaching is something I have always wanted to do and I have an opportunity so I should probably go for it.

But just life in general has been good, even if one of my best friends had to leave me to head back to Dunedin for Uni, but she knows I think about her all the time and wish we could always have our talks, cause I can truly tell her anything at all and she will listen, Thank you so much. But I am very lucky to have as many good friends as I have and I am glad to know all of you.

Lif is Good...Downs come but you can live through them.

Hurricanes play worse still win
The Wellington Hurricanes played even worse tonight than they did last week against The Force and still managed to come away with a bonus point win to have a maximum 15 points from 3 weeks of the competition this is an amazing start for the Canes as they now head to South Africa for the next three weeks.

Australia swears by new ad campaign

This story is more proof to us about brainless Aussies, as if we really needed anymore, but it is still pretty funny. The Aussies seem to think that they will get more tourists into Australia by swearing at them its kinda interesting isn't it. The problem for me is the ad shown above is not really swearing for me, its pretty mild really.

John Howard had this to say about the ads,"It's a colloquialism, it's not a word that is seen quite in the same category as other words that nobody ought to use in public or on the media or in advertisements. I think the style of the advertisement is anything but offensive but is in fact in context and I think it's a very effective ad."
University
Well I am going back to University on Monday for my last trimester, it is quite a scary thought in some parts, but I am glad to be looking at completion I will finally be out in the real world, I have 5 weeks between June and July to try and find a job or I will be back and may think about doing a teachers degree :) cause I think it is something I really want to get into. I have just started a new job and I absolutely love it my new job is tutoring kids in Maths, I have a whole range of kids aged from 5 all the way up to 17 and I love it all of them so maybe teaching really is for me.

This is the best job I have ever had, No weekend work, Working with kids, doing maths and to top it all off I am on a better pay rate than my last job.

So anyone who knows kids in Wellington who need a maths tutor give us a comment and I will get back to you.
Ice Hockey

OMG the Russians defeated the Favourite Canadian team 2-0 in the Quarter finals that is amazingly shocking, but these two teams have the two best goalies in the NHL without a doubt, and it really came down to Nabokov vs Brodeur, I may be a New Jersery Devils Fan, but I have always thought Nabokov is the best goalie in the league and he proved it with several amazing saves and stopping 27 shots in the game for a shutout thats awesome good work.

The other quarter finals were Finland beating USA 4-3, The Czech Republic beating Slovakia 3-1, and Sweden beating Switzerland 6-2.

But the Russian game as much as they were a top team in the competition is still an amazing game for the "Underdogs" Nooone thought they had a chance so now in the semis we see Finland taking on Russia, and Sweden playing the Czech Republic should be a good all round Semifinal round.
Bleeding Vaginas
Well ok I watched the South Park Episode "Bloody Mary" and it seemed everyone was complaining about the Menstrual Blood hitting the Pope in the face, but I personally thought the worst part was after that when the Pope said "This is no miracle, this is just a chick bleeding from her Vagina, this is nothing special, chicks bleed from their Vaginas all the time"

I think personally no matter what way you look at it this was a hell of a lot more offensive, but I leave that up to you and your comments that you make.
Help Wanted

I was shown this by a friend and have decided seen as I am looking for new members for NZ Paradigm it might be appropriate, I will also be forcing Franki to rejoin the team so at least we have two perspectives to start from.
Question Time
I watched Question time today and had to have a good laugh about the number of documents that are attempted to be tabled that just end up being rejected cause of objections, Judith Collins in particular tried to table 10 different documents about A NZ Born Hero and got denied on everyone. But the one that shocked me was I think Nick Smith trying to table the notes from the previous day to show what the Forestry Minister said and was denied so that he coudn't be shown to be changing his words it was completely farcical, but Question time is nothing but a joke lol.
Starting again
Well I am going to restart this blog, I have decided that I need to do something again and I think this blog is the right place for me to start again, going back to my roots of blogging it has been a while since I have posted on here, but I have been working on a couple of other blogs so now I will restart this one I like this blog, I may change my template a bit though, so look forward to some more posts from me appearing on here again

Sometime within the next week I shall restart NZParadigm too, if anyone is interested in joining the team for that blog as well.

I apologise to Gooner for having stopped, but I suffered a major burnout in Sept Oct last year and have only started to recover lately, but I am back into it now and will be updating regularly
